Result from ASEAN Sports Ministers in Yogyakarta

At the ASEAN Sports Ministers in Yogyakarta the ASEAN member agreed to establish the single coordinating board said the Indonesian Sports Minister Andi Mallaranggeng.

The single coordination board which the ASEAN Sports Ministers establish on the ASEAN Sports Ministerial Meeting in Yogyakarta was to support the ASEAn goal to form a single community by 2015. This action will also boost the archievemets in sports for each of the ASEAn member on local and International league.

Andi Mallaranggeng appoint as the chairman of the newly established board with Lao’s Sports Minister Phankam Viphavanh as the vice chairman. The minister also said that the new board will be established an Expert Group Meeting (EMG) to set up a working lan for the new board.
